Flipcharts

 How to Use

Flipcharts make teaching a Primary song so easy! There are several ways to use them after you have printed them onto cardstock and placed them in a protective sheet. 

1. Show each flipchart page in order and sing each one over and over. Then move on to the next. Be sure to talk about the picture on each and the meaning of the words.

2. Mix-Up. This is great to do after the song has been taught as a review. Place the flipchart pages around the room, or give one to different children, or scatter them on the floor or board. Start to sing the song and have children come up and try to put the flipchart in order.

3. Have the flipchart pages in order on the board. Sing the song. Then turn over or take down one of the pages and sing again. Repeat until all the pages are down.

4. Use the slides of the flipcharts on a TV screen instead of printing them.

Flipcharts and Slides

 I'M BACK! (sort of)

It's been awhile since I last posted. I was released from my Primary chorister calling but I'm back as a permanent sub. So that means I get to do whatever they need me to do each Sunday. And I've got to say, I'm loving it. Some weeks I'm teaching a class or in the Nursery or doing my favorite- doing the music! 

FLIPCHARTS and SLIDES

It warms my heart to see that my blog is still being viewed and helping others with the fantastic calling of Primary chorister. I love helping anyway I can. So when Camille from "Camille's Primary Ideas" told me there wasn't flipcharts for all the Primary songs this next year, I just had to add a few more flipcharts to my blog. But that's not all! I'm also adding them as SLIDES! If your church building is like many others in the U.S. and Canada and getting large screen TVs or projectors placed in your Primary room, SLIDE SHOWS are the way to go. That is if you're a little bit techy but if you're not you can still print the flipcharts.
